Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne is a 36-bed comprehensive medical rehabilitation hospital designed to meet the acute rehabilitation needs of individuals who have experienced a disabling injury or illness. A physician and interdisciplinary team work with each patient and his or her family to provide an individualized rehabilitation treatment plan.
Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne provides state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, large inpatient and outpatient therapy gyms, activities of daily living areas, a transitional living apartment, on-site X-ray services and a heated indoor therapeutic pool with lift-assist entry. Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne specializes in rehabilitating individuals who have experienced some of the following conditions/diagnoses: orthopedic ailments (fractures, joint replacements, amputations), stroke, neurological disorders (spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre, multiple sclerosis), multiple trauma and brain injury.
